New State Mandated Immunization Requirement
Effective January 1, 2012, Texas law requires that all new and transfer college students must receive a vaccination or booster against bacterial meningitis.
Students required to have the vaccination or booster will not be able to register for courses until a valid immunization record or exemption document has been provided to the Office of the Registrar or the Office of Student Records.

About the Graduate School
TWU is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award baccalaureate, master's and doctoral degrees. Over 5,700 graduate students are enrolled at TWU in 66 master's and 23 doctoral programs of study.
Graduate study began at Texas Woman's University in 1930, and since 1952 the Graduate School has operated as a unit under its own Dean and Graduate Council. Doctoral degrees were first awarded at the University in 1953.
